I said something about it on Facebook and apparently I have 2-3 mutual friends and I got reamed, lol
Petting my cat soothes me, as does walking my dog. I'm not about to try and bring each with me to a Saints game.
There is a lady with a Dauschaund in section 620, so this isn't the only service animal in there.

I've never heard of a service cat for emotion support. That's ridiculous.
I have heard of it, and know someone with one, stemming from PTSD. It seems to work pretty well. They call it a therapy animal. Like the previous poster said, not the same as and not designated as a service animal. Just my .02.

A service cat? Seriously?
What does it do? Lick it's arse if the owner is in distress?
This service animal craze has gotten completely out of hand.

what I don't get it is. This guy needs the cat for "emotional support" Yet that was the Cat's first Saints Game, and he said in the article he has sat in those seats for 12 years and it was the first time he brought the cat.
I know I may seem like an a-hole for this, but he does NOT need that service animal to survive or get around. It's not a seeing eye dog. Emotional support animals are easy to get and soon pets will be in restaurants everywhere as more people get emotional support animals.
If the animal is there to guide you or keep you alive then that's fine, but all of us use our pets as emotional support animals.
This service animal stuff is crazy to me.
I mean really and truly. Why on earth does it bother you? Why do you care or question what someone else prefers for emotional support?
That.. I truly do not get.
Just because he went to games before without it, doesn't mean he couldn't use the service animal now in his life to make it a better experience. There is a reason he got the service animal, why judge what another person is going through.. if it helps a person get by better, why do you care?
People love to judge and hate on just about anything and everything.. just because it doesn't make "sense" to them..
There are several things I once could do, but severe stress and anxiety/medical issues arise later in life which have prevented me from doing things as easily, if at all.. I could see where a support person or something of this nature might help a person live out their life a little easier.. If you don't have this type of problem then be thankful.
Everyone is different.. everything affects people differently..
Any ways, hope their pet has a collar or some sort of ID and someone can return her. Doesn't look like he had one on her though..
He needs something like this..
