No power for four days...then you give us power for a day and a half....then you shut it off again....then you give us power for a day and a half again!!!

I feel your pain.

I’ve been through many storms including Katrina, Betsy, etc.


This on off thing is not nice.

Yeah, quit complaining. It’s nice outside. I live in the garden district in Monroe, we were without power for 8 days following Lauren. Hot as frick. You decided to live in an area that hurricanes affect. We aren’t supposed to have cat 2 winds in north Louisiana. So

They said on the radio right after zeta, that they were focusing on restoration over repair this time around. Meaning they would restore power to an area, move further down the line, shut off the grid, fix something, turn it back on etc. So it's either this or you might not have power at all yet.

I just got power back this morning since having it out on Wednesday. I have a generator which powered my fridge, deep freezer and tv. Didn’t even need to plug in my portable AC since it was cool outside. If you have a generator, which everyone living on the gulf coast should own, It was actually quite nice.
