You should buy real estate in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Why?

Magnolia sits on enough lithium for Tesla to build cars for 38 more years.

Exxon just bought $100m of land there.

The population will more than double over the next 5 years as a result.

Homes are $150k.

I wonder what the pros and cons of living on or near a lithium mine are.

Not sure I’m going to take investing advice from a guy that has “(Mobile Home Park Guy)” in his twitter…. Is the city / surroundings pretty at least?

This is like when Boss Hogg wanted to strip mine Hazzard County. Pretty much the same thing right?

No. They have a steel mill I’ve had to got o for work.

It’s just country pines and fairly ugly- or at least not anything different than you’ll see in east Texas or NW Louisiana.

Lithium is highly water reactive.

You all gonna die when it rains!

Wait a minute.. hold on.. you are advising people to buy property near a lithium mine?

Take a minute and google what happens in the process of lithium mining to power EVs that the greenies are boasting about being so green and ecologically beneficial.

There’s a place in Maine that could be the “Motherlode” of lithium deposits in NA but the state has banned open pit mining. There’s a family who could earn $2B if the regulations are changed

Doubt this news is targeted for people wanting to move there. It’s so people can buy up houses, reduce supply, and drive prices up while also complaining about Blackrock doing it.

WSJ article is where that info came from.

The formations with the lithium runs from south ARK/north LA, through central MS down to south AL and west FL. Could be a boon for the entire region.
