These statistics really aren't surprising given the disparities seen in other tests. ACT scores, for example, show the same.
Average composite scores for the 2024 ACT test:
All students: 19.4
Black/AA: 16.0
White: 20.9
Hispanic/Lat.: 17.4
Asian: 24.1
