Just remember, 100 is the peak of the bell curve. Most of the country falls less than one standard deviation above or below the mean.
I have always told my kids that when someone is acting like an arse at school, remember that for every one of you (both have testing more than three standard deviations above the mean), there are lots of very average kids and one or two moronic sociopaths.

I don’t think IQ has much to do with common sense.I’ve known a good many high IQ people that seem to have 0 common sense.My wife has a brother that I’m sure has high IQ-geophysicist,graduated college with 4.0,avg.Hasn’t got sense enough to come out of the rain.
Another member of the family has photographic memory,has 3 completely unrelated colleg degrees and has done some of the dumbest shite I’ve ever
heard of.

Minority percentage correlates to high poverty rates. High poverty correlates to poor prenatal care and child nutrition. Both correlate to lower IQs.
