Sitting in my own house that I pay for. This millennial also put 20% down of his own money, no help from mommy and daddy.

That age range should be broken in half.

18-25 - those are the college years and living at home should not be looked down upon.

26-34 - Worthless members of society if still mooching off parents.

There should also be a duration of time at parents home. 1-3 months not bad, after that should be turned into soylent green.

I live at home with my parents because there's no jobs out there right now. I'm only 33 so its not like most people have a house by my age

Some observations: It seems the more population, the higher %. I can only assume that is due to increased competition for jobs. Also, with more people, you also have a higher % of lazy ness in the herd.

Could it be that once the kid gets old enough to leave the state, they do so as soon as the get they can?

there was no stigma associated with living at home until the middle of the 20th century.

social security, medicare, and rising middle class wages were the main reasons why the stigma was formed.

I remember riding my Harley through western Minnesota into North Dakota and then down to South Dakota with my wife a few summers ago. The landscapes were amazing. I remember passing by low rolling hills of tall grass that in the wind looked almost like waves on the ocean. Then there were the Badlands. Damn I want to go back.

I just bought and brand new, fully loaded, 2017 truck with extra large truck nuts and I'm staying at my dad's.

I'm also kidding.
