GRACE
God is extending His hand out to mankind in an attempt to save us from ourselves by us putting our faith in Christ and thus adopting His plans for our lives rather than our own. If God gave us all what we deserved, none of us would be talking right now, but He does not desire to punish us, but save us. This life of ours IS that chance for salvation, even though He knows most will not accept Him, but instead go our own way unto our own destruction. Still, His love for us demonstrated through His grace he is allowing us is what stops all of that. There will come an end to that grace period, but for now, we are under Grace. We are under the lamb, not the lion, but the time of the lion is fast approaching.

You’re assuming that God and Him/Him/He followers are the only reason people disagree with abortion. Plenty of atheists don’t end up in prison. It’s a matter of morality conscience.

Its a ritual about discovering adultery. Because if the jealous husband was wrong in his accusation, then the baby he killed was his own. So there is no way a priest is going to kill a baby for an irrational husband
And even if I go along with your interpretation, her getting an abortion resulted in this: "and the woman shall be a curse among her people.". Which then further cements the expectation that abortions are not to be done
