Here we on Earth making our own life's rules (Roe v Wade and then overturning Roe v Wade)

On a day like today, why does God not come down from Heaven and thunderously state in no uncertain terms what should be and what should not be regarding human reproduction?
Clearly, specifically and unequivocally
A few lightning bolts
And then a heavenly mic drop
With due respect for anticipated responses such as:
"He already has"
"Bible this or that"
"Religion this or that"
"Free will this or that"
My key question:
God coming down and laying it down for humankind...what is stopping Him from doing this?
Can only come from 2nd coming of Jesus? If so, why?
If not, what is stopping Him?

Because he allows us free will. At some point he will have enough, but he will let mankind destroy itself before he saves those who are worthy. Free will is not without its consequences.

God doesnt answer people on their terms, it’s His terms - nothing else

Free will yet he knows what will happen in advance
Sounds like he's only pissing himself off by letting humans roam the earth. And if he already knows what's going to happen in the future, he knows when he's gonna be pissed off to the point of no return and destroy the earth at that time.

Mercy. When Jesus does come back, it will be a day of wrath and judgment. In His mercy, he is giving people time to seek and find the Truth and repent. There will be a time when that is no longer possible and you don't want that.
