Ah, white middle class kids still had to hide that like a No Limit tape.

Vanilla Ice or Snow were well before Eminem.

I was in grade school for Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer, but my senior year of HS it seemed like every white kid that hated Korn was suddenly an Eminem fan - white t-shirt and bleached hair.

You drunk baby? It went wrong way before that. John Hughes fricked up all kinda shite.

Made us think a wildly diverse group of kids would be friends for life after one forced day in detention.

Made us think some ugly arse nerdy red head would ever be the object of infatuation for the biggest stud in school

And that little fig of a truant movie really fricked us up.

The topic wasn't lewinsky. They were investigating an alleged sexual assault on Kathleen Willey. The Lewinsky affair was uncovered during the investigation.

So this

Is somehow better than this?

There are tons of other answers before Eminem if we're talking about where things went wrong

Bill Clinton is the reason the 1990s was the greatest decade in American History. You're welcome.

The exact same argument can be made for Newt Gingrich being responsible for the 1990s being the greatest decade in American history.

Yea it's funny how Clinton gets all the credit when the Republican controlled Congress wrote and passed those bills for him to sign. Really though neither is responsible for the booming economy during that time it was the dot.com boom that was actually a bubble that burst.
