More STDs as well I’m sure.

Why the hell aren’t local authorities doing more?

They don't have the red flags up on the pole?

When will people stop insisting that government save them from their own choices?

Realize that the currents can and will rip the bottom out from under you..

You don't live in reality then.

The signs are there, and the flags are there on every public beach.

Actually, that’s exactly how it should work. You have people coming from landlocked states wanting to enjoy the water and not understanding the power of the ocean and riptides and what to do. And this is where local services should step up. I’m sorry but I don’t want to live in a world where everything “is on you”.

Look at this good little authoritarian.

As a Kentuckian who has spent a few decades at the beach in the summer, you have to be an idiot to miss info about rip tides/rough water because it’s typically posted everywhere.

Well that, and its not 1600 anymore. People from states without beaches have access to the internet, etc.

Crazy to me that people don't have a healthy respect for the ocean/gulf. It is so strong and vast and people treat it like the damn city pool.

Only five people died on Amity. Less than PCB.

Chrissy
Kitner Boy
Random Guy in "The Pond"
Ben Gardner
Quint

Amity, as you know, means "Friendship".

It’s always those Kentuckians ignoring those warning flags. Something about Kentucky.

Because double red flags means its illegal to go into the water.....unless you have a board with a tether.

If people die, breaking the law, its on them.

It’s a free country. If retards want to go swimming in rip tides that’s their business.
