How dumb and screwed up in the head do you have to be to buy a saw and cleaning supplies, charge the rides on his card and kill a guy and dismember him in his own house?
Did he not think any of that would be traceable? I mean he put enough thought into killing him that he bought a saw ahead of time.

Reminds me of the case where they found a couple tied to kettle bells at the bottom of Lake Pontchartrain. The killers were on video at Walmart buying the bells.
I also recall one where robbers jacked a guy of his cash and credit card, then went straight to Walmart and were on video using the card to buy sneakers and a Tupac cassette.

He was dumb enough to get caught stealing and instead of paying the money back over time (like he was offered), he killed the guy.
