Chester Copperpot
I believe dogs should have 2 syllable names and a last name when introducing for the first time

If you are a fan of Ed Orgeron, how about
EdO pronounced Ed OH
transitions easily to Ed Oh you wonderful dog.

Don’t do Boudin, Zydeco, Cayenne, etc. all those Cajun names are way overplayed.
I like Chip...short for where he was found.
Clyde...after No. 22. As both have overcome adversity.
Edit: and thanks for rescuing this sweet boy!

I’ve seen a few people say he’s not purebred, and you’re probably right. Any guesses as to what they might be? Here’s his sister from the same litter that was also rescued. Looks like they photoshopped her head on another dog’s body
Here are some more pics of the male. For now, we’ve chosen Kirby as the name.

It looks to have some type of Shepard or Collie in the genes. But cute little mutt.

he was found chained up behind a house off Chippewa and the chain was embedded in his neck.

Might get one of those dog DNA kits for him somewhere down the line. That type of stuff interests me.

Collie, like someone else said. Not sure what else, but it's not only Collie.
I find it odd those two are from the same litter, and so different.

I was told they were brother and sister. Then again, the same girl told me that the chain was embedded in the female’s neck, when it was obviously the male. Not sure how reliable they are. They look very similar to me, but then again, I’m no Golden Retriever expert. Maybe the female is the mom? There’s another dog that was chained up, too — maybe the dad?
