id be concerned because a lot of times in illegal states you'll see pretty convincing fakes. they'll still be thc vapes with CA stickers but could have been made with vitamin e acetate or whatever it was that was fricking everyone up.

He's 17, 17 year olds smoke pot. Just be upfront and honest with him about your rules while he's living in your house and the dangers of doing it while driving. Maybe talk to him about getting caught with it hurting his college application process, etc. I find treating them with respect works best. If he doesn't reciprocate that respect, bring down the hammer, but give him a chance first.

I was caught with pot my senior year in HS and I'll never forget the conversation my dad had with me. Sat me down, said he wasn't mad and I'm not in trouble, but explained to me why it was dumb to have it in my car, etc. He was honest and said things like "weed isn't going to kill you and I know you're going to college next year..." etc. but just spoke to me being smarter. And said this time I won't do anything, but next time he finds that in his house or in the car he bought for me there will be serious consequences.
Talked to me like an adult and I took the conversation to heart.
Then my mom yelled at me like a banshee and I remember thinking about how differently they approached the situation and how much more impactful my dad was.

Thats definitely a real weed vape. And delta 8 or 9 gets you high as frick. Delta 9 is actually the main ingredient in weed that gets you high. Just like old boy said, the farm bill lets gas stations and head shops sell weed
