I had a lab that would eat anything. Rocks? No problem in they go and I assumed out they came. Bar of soap? Not an issue for him. He ate a thread bare towel one time, I had to assist him passing it by stepping on the end hanging out his azz.

Three inches in diameter is pretty big. I think I'd take him to the emergency vet just for peace of mind

They aren’t gonna do much that he wouldn’t at home. Dogs eat crap all the time. He’ll digest it and shite it out the same both places, it’s a roundish bone.

But if he has money to burn for no reason he can pay the vet to watch him crap it out.

Had one eat a whole corn dog, stick and all. He snatched it from one of my children when she wasn't looking. 3 weeks later, he passed it. Had a shitkabob standing up in the back yard.

Well if you didn’t want your dog to swallow a ham bone, why tf did you give your dog a ham bone?

Make sure you recover it once it passes. Makes a great turdbone stock.

How much does a new dog cost? Might be cheaper than the vet bill

Vet or no vet? If vet, cost?

Did you recover the hambone and keep it is a momento?

So many questions.
