Help - Cartoon 80's or 90's

The heroes would get in a tube and meet up, and maybe build a transformer-like hero. I just remember them all zipping through the tube. I don't think it is Thundercats or Transformers. He-Man is out. If you were born after '83, don't respond.

Definitely Voltron.
Should check out the Netflix reboot - it’s fricking rad. It was fun watching it with my son - he ended up getting the full Voltron set for Christmas.

It was one of the most popular cartoons of the time. You buy all die cast metal toys and put them together to make the robot. I was about 6-8, but I remember it vividly because my padnuh had all the toys.

I had He-Man, She-Ra and Cringer (the green Tiger). I just watched the "Toys" series on Netflix and realized that is gone for today's youth.
