Heineken Silver? Who has tried this?

Years ago we removed the “ pancake section “ of a platform in the GOM using a Dutch lift ship. Once removed,we set the production equipment in place.

I flew out to observe.

They had a beer hold on that ship that was as big as a house full of Heineken. Thousands of cases.

The Heerema boss and I cracked a few.

Heineken In Amsterdam and Heineken in the US are two vastly different beers. It’s actually good in Amsterdam. Not sure how they frick it up so bad in the US.

Same thing with Guinness in England vs the US, it’s great across the pond but dogshit stateside.

This is false. The beer sold in the US is brewed in Amsterdam. The difference is the age of the beer. It takes over a month from end of brew process to retail in the US. Then add ultraviolet light to bottles in coolers which is detrimental to the quality of the beer. Plus, beer in bottles ages faster than beer on tap which is how it’s mainly served in Amsterdam. If you want a better Heineken experience in the US, drink it from a can.
