I don't know shite about crime laws and stuff...would he not get an attempted murder or something more "serious" than just inury to a child?

I guess I'm the 1% that would've pulled out my pistol and put a round in each one of those tattoos on his face.

I think that would fall under the "flip out" category so you are a 99%er

Because pulling the knife out could make the kid bleed to death. The knife exerts pressure on severed blood vessels, so it reduces the bleeding until it's pulled out.

Thanks doc!

The kids parent should have had a little more situational awareness
Dude, you have no idea exactly how this happened, stop making assumptions.

Not everyone keeps a gun on themselves while they're in and around their house.

What, no one wants to be locked in a room with him for a few minutes? And torture him?

OT is getting soft

Police said the child was playing in a common area of the apartment complex when Jose Guillermo Molina, 21, walked up behind him. The victim’s mother said Molina grabbed her son and threw him to the floor, then put his knee on his back and started to stab him with a kitchen knife. Molina, who lives in the same complex as the victim, was arrested a short time later at a shopping center located across the street. He has been charged with felony injury to a child and remained in jail Thursday with no bond.

I've been reading KHOU's FB comments. This is almost a 100% Section 8 complex in NW Houston.
Neighbors are posting that everyone knew he was mentally ill.
