Wife miscarried twice earlier this year.
I knocked her up with an IUD in. Miscarried. Took it out, next month knocked her up again and miscarried at 8 weeks. Next month, knocked her up again and now we're at 11 weeks with everything going well.
This is our third, kids are awesome. Congrats.

Wasn’t expecting the tears of joy from myself after confirming there was a heart beat.
Cherish it each step of the way and don't make the mistake of hoping for the next phase.
They only go forward and you can't ever get that time back.
My only two pieces of advice would be:
1. Cavemen cared for babies. They are more resilient than they look. So, trust in yourself. You are going to be a good parent and will know and do the right thing even though you won't be sure of yourself.
2. When they want your attention, try to give it to them. There will come a day when they won't want it anymore, and you'd wish that you'd have chosen them over yourself.
If I had known how much joy and fulfillment I get out of spending time with them, I'd have had kids much, much sooner.
Congrats!

Congrats. We lost our first to miscarriage--never heard a heartbeat. Second was born healthy. Third (due in February!) gave us a scare when my wife started showing similar symptoms to the first. Luckily we got in and heard that little heart drumming away at a cool 170 BPM. I cried.

Congrats on the heart beat. A special moment.
Reality didn’t finally hit me until I heard her scream out while she was birthed/born. That was a true “oh shite” moment; but in the best way possible.
7 months in and having a blast.

It is a beautiful moment. They printed out the EKG and I had it painted for my wife as a gift. She loved it, and it hung in our daughters room for sometime.

Awesome
Congratulations, can’t wait for my opportunity to experience that.
Tell your wife I said hello.

Wait until you hear him or her laugh the first time, there's nothing that can prepare you for it.

Congratulations and I pray the rest of the pregnancy goes ok.
I’m very jealous I must say.
Children truly are a blessing.
