We moved to 20 acres and the first 2 things I got my kids was each a red rider BB gun and then electric four wheelers. We went electric since they were brand new to anything like that. They love them, haul arse all over the property.

This year I just dropped 2 20 amp lithium batteries in them. They should pick up some speed and longer run time.

Childhood friend had a 125cc for a few years growing up. We had a blast on that thing. Congrats on a great gift idea and time spent with your son!

Went this morning to the Honda dealership to grab my son’s dirtbike. Hiding it at my cousins house. Caught up on old times. Gonna grab it tonight at 3am and wheel it into the kitchen and put the huge bow on it. My sons thinks he is not getting shite this year. I’m looking forward to Christmas morning more than he is

I stopped off at the gas station to fuel up my truck yesterday. While pumping my gas, a baw pulled up to the neighboring pump with a brand new little side-by-side in the bed of his truck. I said to him “someone’s gonna have a great Christmas.” Turns out he had an 11 yr old boy and 5 yr old daughter. I could hear the pride and excitement in his voice. My kids are older now, son is gown and daughter is 16. But I still remember those Christmases when they were little. I left there happy for the guy. There are few feelings better as a dad than waking up far earlier on Christmas morning than you want to get up and seeing your little one’s excitement at their presents. I know tomorrow morning you’re going to make memories that will last a lifetime.

I remember hiding a Honda Grom from my son and each present he opened included an envelope with a riddle and each riddle's correct answer was a word that led to his discovery. Was lots of fun.

Glad it was a good Christmas Eve, did you happen to finish it off with fireworks? Asking for a friend.

Just make him wear helmets and be careful, maybe install a governor's chip. I've lost 2 friends from 2 different ATV accidents. You think you got it under control until you don't.

Sorry to hear about your friends. ATV's and SxS are a lot more dangerous than a dirt bike is due to the potential to flip, roll and all of that weight behind them.

I was talking to one of my sons about this tonight. I bought one for each of us and kept them at the neighbors house. Christmas 2009. Brought them over to the house after they went to bed. It was snowing that night. Brought them into the house by the tree. Man, we had fun Christmas morning. The youngest wiped out hitting a stump; jumped up saying “I’m okay dad”. Thank god for helmets. Great memories!

Take it from a kid who got one on Christmas when he was very young. Your son will never, ever , forget this day. No matter what happens in life. He will always remember his dad doing this for him

I got my first mini bike when I was 8. Started motocross at 9, and was in county and state fairs performing and racing at 10.
Had lots of crashes too, but never any serious injuries.

My biggest jump was over 3 pickups. Ramps were crap back then

Haha. I didn’t truly understand how fast 10mph is until I taught my oldest to drive. Goddamn terrifying.
