Not looking for a reason to not participate as you say.. found it odd that all other times all that was required was screening at the door... including when I had consultation last month for this ...which is in the same building of where the procedure will take place...

Why wouldn’t I trust them?
Been seeing this doctor for many years...

If the guy doing the procedure was as big a Covidians as some of you are I wouldn’t trust him.
But that’s the thing about this event. They’re only zealous about Covid and “this” vaccine. If they were as pragmatic about the vaccine and Covid as they apparently are about all
The other maladies - that still exist and pose a threat- I’d trust them a lot more.
They’re apparently not too worried about cancer or anything else are they? But this vaccine and Covid- whew!! We gotta get that under control stat. Everything else, not so much. Yeah, no frickery there, huh?

It’s a new protocol they put in this week
Wife had to get a negative Covid test to get a teeth cleaning at her dentist and another to do physical therapy on her wrist

Thats not normal at all....I've had my teeth cleaned 3 times in the past 16 months and never had to get a COVID test......

Had the same thing back in April when I had my vasectomy. Had to get tested on a Friday before the procedure the following Monday

This has been standard "operating" procedure all pandemic. Requiring a 72 hour negative test is nothing new.
Avoided both by being admitted for pancreatitis 3 days before and not released till 2 days after.

I had hip replacement surgery on May 18 at OLOL and didn’t have to have a COVID test but I’ve had the vaccine.

It has been protocol to have a negative Covid test before a procedure since last spring. However when hospitalizations/death fell sharply in April/May this year, many places stopped requiring it. Now obviously it’s going to be protocol again.

Calling him to question on a message board seems to indicate not being all in on his practice with even the simplest policies
