So no marriages between Sept 1 & Dec 1? Weddings are typically on Saturday you know.
Have it whenever you want, I won't be there.
Ours was the last weekend before football season. We watched the first LSU game from a bar in St Lucia. It was perfect.

You think that's a fair assumption?

How is being upset your best friend skips your wedding to go hunting/football game/something completely trivial make said person a drama queen or high maintenance?

Guy gets disrespected and is high maintenance when it pisses him off.

The dude who doesn't really care about stuff like this that really does not matter in the grand scheme, logically speaking, is a lower maintenance friend. I find it odd to even disagree with that, it's pretty obvious.

I don't NEED my friend there at my wedding, it won't change my day in any meaningful way if he's there or not, so getting mad over something like that is pointless.

Better than a wedding on a college football Saturday

And college football games are typically on a Saturday, so to answer your question....no, no weddings between Sept 1 and Dec 1 due to scheduling conflict.

You ever run across a try hard stance and not defend it? You're being absolutely ridiculous in these last few pages.

My parents were married Christmas Day. It was the only day that two 22 years old working two jobs could both get off.
No honeymoon.
Just saying, sometimes that's the only option.

Just so you know August 25th is the perfect day of the year to get married. College football hasn't started yet. Kids are back in school so no vacation messed up. Not hunting season, too hot to fish. Nothing better to do than go drink beer and get shitfaced at a wedding. Nothing to interrupt. That being said better be an inside wedding and reception with a hell of an AC.

8/20 in the church with family, 8/27 with the whole 300 people party. 3 weeks off work and it was great.

He is basically correct on the point that the bride and groom probably not care or know who's in attendance at the time. My point on page 4 was how it would personally make me feel if I were the one skipping out. You age and you tend to see things in a different light and your priorities change. This is one of the few enjoyable things about aging.
