Having a ureteroscopy tomorrow (Update)

No...but I’m betting it’s uncomfortable. Probably about like a catheter.

I’ve helped a couple docs do them in the hospitals. Looks very uncomfortable and painful. Are you having anesthesia?

I've had a cystoscopy. Camera in from the front all the way into the bladder.

I did a cystoscopy.
Uncomfortable like a mofo.
Gave me meds to relax me but they didn’t work on me. Had to go forward. Couldn’t reschedule.
They put a large tube of this jelly stuff in hole. Burned like someone was putting a lit match in there. They tied the end of my penis so the jelly wouldn’t come out. Sat like that for about 10 minutes.
When they inserted the tube I didn’t feel anything.....but once deep inside it was extremely uncomfortable.
The prep took longer than the procedure for me.

The Dr. already said that he is putting one in. Heard those things hurt and very uncomfortable.

My pain was I guess from the friction of the camera and tube going in and out.
