I hated it while I was there, but looking back on it I definitely agree with you that it made me a better person and ball player.

Serious question. How/where is your brother now? He functioning okay?

He's 20 now. Lives with my parents. Will never drive. Will never live on his own. Won't get laid. Never have a job.

It's sad. The kid is an absolute genius. Like, completely blows me out of the water intellectually. He just sits at home and plays video games.

Yeah, My dad owned my principal from Junior High, 1997
I made my first grade that was not an "A" in my life. It was a D.
Teacher made a mistake and gave me the D that belonged to the girl who was after me in the grade book. I really had an A
Principal said it was too late to change the grade to reflect me getting on the A-Team in the parish
My dad said something along the lines of, "Let me tell you something bitch, you fix that grade now, or I'll fix you"

My parents didn't, but I did.

Math teacher failed my eldest on a test because she didn't use the method the teacher wanted for the problem. She used the way I taught her.

Wife and I met with the teacher and the Vice-Principal. Teacher said she stood my the grade.

I asked "did she get the right answer on all the questions" teacher said yes, but she didn't do it right.

So I asked if she'd ever gotten the wrong answer on any of her tests. Teacher said no, but that didn't matter.

So I told her in the real world it matters a lot more that you're right than how you did it. When my daughter gets the answer wrong feel free to mark her off.

Till then grade her on the answer. She told me that was never going to happen.

I looked at the Vice-principal and asked him if he supported that stance. I just needed to know before I went to the board and got him fired too.

He told me not to worry about it, he'd get the score fixed and we wouldn't have a problem with it again.

We didn't.

You know, we could set up a GoFundMe to fix that.

I've contributed to WORSE causes.

I sincerely hope that you never have a family member that is severely autistic. Because until you have a child or sibling who is autistic, you can't and won't comprehend the very literal hell that you experience just trying to go about your day to day life.

Good day. I refuse to drop to your level again.

I never once said anything negative about your brother and even had a kind comment in my first post towards him. I understand your frustration but you seem a little high strung, try to relax man, I feel for kids with special needs

I got screwed man, My dad was the school board member and uncle was the principal, i was a regular in the office in about 5th grade. Every single time he would say "call you dad" and every single time it was "tear his arse up and send him back to class." I never got the benefit of the doubt. Learned my lesson the hard way though!

Glad you never had shite teachers. I had a couple that were worn out sadistic losers who selectively took out their self-loathing on students.

I DO hate people who sue with just a money grab in mind. That won't change, so I didn't backtrack anything.. I didn't know the situation and spoke prematurely and I apologized for that

Obviously not, because you tried to make it about money. When in my first post about it, I said we sued and won for the proper personel and training/resources.

Serious question from someone who never experienced anything close to this...

But have you ever wanted to take him to a prostitute? I remember watching a movie where a brother did something like that for his brother who otherwise would never have sex. Obviously, it's shady and perhaps immoral. But if he has the slightest interest... Maybe I would.

My mom set up a meeting with a teacher to find out if I was just an a-hole or there was actually a problem with the teacher. He quickly threw out how he had been teaching for 5 years and that she cannot comprehend the challenges he faces in the classroom daily. My mom who has 30 years teaching experience and a masters quickly took him apart.

The flip side of having parents who are teachers is that they see through your bullshite very quickly
