Have you ever seen people standing in a parking spot to save?

How trashy. Also I don’t recognize that as a save.

They usually end up under my truck.

The person usually is no longer standing after I pull into the parking space.

In South Africa, people used to stand in spaces in busy parking lots and only move if you paid them.

I was in Atlanta and saw someone trying to save spot. They got into it with another car trying to park in the spot. The other dude that was not saving the spot ended up parking somewhere else and waited them out. he came back and pulled all 4 valve steams out of their tires.

I got in a verbal fight with some Karen looking bitty over this once.
Later on her husband became my son's football coach and I had to see her multiple times per week

No but I have seen trashy fricks putting lawn chairs in multiple spots by the Ag Center on game days to “save” spots. I got a big laugh when LSUPD came through with a stake bed truck and chucked all of the chairs in the back.

I was the one standing in the parking space on Gov. Nicholls when we sold the building and were moving out.
We needed to pull the moving van in, FireBall was scheduled to cove in and move the furniture, and the requests we had made to the city had been ignored because a to-be-failed movie was going to need the front of our house for their catering truck at noon.
Husband retrieved the van, the cop we had hired finally showed up, and we left two hours before the catering truck arrived.
A couple of people wanted the spot, but when I explained our problem, they all understood.
