Have you ever lived in a haunted house?

I rented a house in Statesboro, GA back around 1998 with a friend/coworker. We only kept it for 5 days and never spent a full night there due to the shenanigans. Each night we'd just leave and go to a hotel.
The only thing in the basement was a cardboard box containing an ax and a prosthetic leg, there were hundreds of dead lizards around that looked as if they had been cut in half at the abdomen with scissors, and as soon as you'd get in bed the house would begin to shake and rumble.
When I went to the realtor to break the lease, they were like 'ok'. They clearly knew something was up, because realtors don't just let you out of a year lease without good cause.

No, because ghosts aren't real.

Big deal. The stories in that stack of bibles are just as real as your haunted house.

It was probably the leg that was haunted and not the house. If you would have manned up and removed it then you could have honored your lease. Jeez, didn't you take science 101 in college?

Lived in a house built in 1833 on a Navy base. Hated going up to the 3rd floor, it was definitely haunted.

My g'father owned a building in the French Quarter when I was a kid. You could supposedly hear chains dragging across the floor upstairs in the old slave quarters although I never heard it myself. Eventually he traded it for another property uptown.
ps - to clarify, he didn't own the place at the time of the alleged slavery obviously.

So the chains had spirits that came back to haunt along with the ghost?
