My folks had a raccoon family that lived in the woods behind their old house. They put cat food and water out for them in the evenings. Over time, they got used enough to my parents that they would come up right next to them on the porch to eat. Never tried petting them or anything. Gave them all "R" names, so it was Robbie Racoon, Rachel Raccoon, etc. Probably went through several generations of that racoon family.

Humans are just like wild animals. It’s not a good idea to feed them because they too become dependent on it and stop working to find food for themselves

We used to have squirrels around the last house. I'd put peanuts out on the patio and they'd take every one of them. Got to the point where they would take them out of my hand.
One time saw a blue jay swoop in and pickup 3 peanuts at the same time. was kind of amazed at the bird's capacity.

They say you shouldn’t move an outdoor cat that has established its territory.
A friend was asked by the previous homeowner to look out for their cat. They left a big bag of dry cat food. I’m not sure what ever happened to that cat but I know he was living under their porch for a while.
Maybe leave a big bag of bird seed and some bird feeders around.
