Drunk drivers.
I've seen white guys drinking from a fifth and blaring hair metal and they were between the lines.
I've seen brothers drinking 40s and cruising just fine.
But if you are swerving on the interstate, troopers are getting called.

Sitting at work the other day and look out my window. I see a small parking lot where bank employees park and noticed a young male (turns out it was a juvenile) looking in windows. Eventually made it to a Lexus SUV and opened the passenger side door. I started freaking out once he opened the door cause I already had a suspicion what he was doing. I called a guy back to my office and he was smart enough to pull his phone out and start recording. Zoomed in on the kid so it was a perfect video. I called 911 and was talking to the operator as I watched him as far as I could. About the time I hung several cop cars flanked in from several directions. The kid said he didn't do it, well the cop at the scene was watching the video the guy at my work recorded and said "Does he have a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, red shoes? I am looking at video, he did it. Take em downtown".
CSB I know, but it just happened two weeks ago.

Yes twice I think when we were behind an obviously impaired driver.

No.
It would take some extreme emergency for me to do so.

Background: My parents neighbor across the street was a rich alcoholic crack head.
I was home from college one weekend and late one night he was beating up his crackhead girlfriend of the month. He was off his rocker and after beating her hard (the one period I remember him being sober he was a roid head) and took off in his F-250. Called the cops and gave his license but nothing happened to him most likely because of who he was.
FF a couple of months later. I'm home around Christmas and on Friday he's so fricked up he puts gas in his diesel truck and I can hear his truck making all sorts of noises coming down the street. Next day I come home from the bar around 2:00 and while drunkenly eating chicken nuggets on the front porch hear a loud crash. Wake up Sunday to find out he had a massive heart attack and died on his back porch.

Followed a drunk driver on Highland road until she finally wrecked on 621 in Ascension. Dumbass woman was so drunk that even after a 45min wait for a trooper to arrive on the scene, she still fell face first within thirty seconds of the test starting. The trooper had asked her to stand on one leg.
Since HWY621 is a state highway, a trooper must be present to administer the FST.
I also came across a car awkwardly parked along the side of a road. Found a guy ODing on heroine. Watched the paramedics administer the adrenaline shot. Dude was 2 minutes from dying.
When I was a teen, some guy ran into my front yard and stole my bike in broad daylight. Called the cops, they arrive in 2 mins and take me around our neighborhood until we found the bike abandoned at the edge of the woods behind my house.

Just some annoying neighbors one time. I had done the right thing and asked them politely several times to quit parking in front of my house because they sort of blocked me in. Parked in front of my mailbox in a cul-de-sac and halfway blocked my driveway. The mailman actually left a note on their car once. I saw it when I got home from work. I lived in a townhouse at the time since I was just a year out of college, and we shared a driveway with the neighbor. The guy 4 units down let his kids stay there, but with all single car garages, they had to park in the street. Which was fine, just don't block me from entering or leaving. One night I saw he was parked in front of a hydrant so I called the police. Told them about the multiple times they parked in front of my driveway, mailbox, and now the hydrant. They got there in about 10 minutes and the owner comes running out with the keys apologizing. He had told his sorry kids not to block people in but they did anyways. It never happened again.

One time.
The neighborhood HOA hired a group to clean up a common area next to me. That group subbed it to a bunch of dumbasses that drove up in a unmarked truck and were half assing it while day drinking.
They backed their truck into my property and knocked over a fence panel. They panicked, sped off and screwed up my yard in the process. I was home that day with a sick baby. I called the HOA president to figure out who these cats were since there was no identification. While I am tracking this down, they come back and are in my back yard trying to fix their mess. They deny doing any of it, and then I ask them why are they trying to fix it? I point to the corner and say the camera caught the whole thing (there was no camera) and the guy gets aggressive. I called the police. They got fired and the HOA got an earful from me for hiring the lowest bidder.

Only one time. An 18 wheeler was swerving across several lanes of traffic.

A guy was heaving belly-sized rocks onto the 4 lane roadway at night. Weird as hell.

A couple weeks ago I woke up at 3 in the morning to like 12 gun shots right outside my apartment. I looked out the window and I saw a man run to his car and speed off. I was sure somebody just got slain so I called the cops. Well the cops never ended up coming... Finally after like 45 minutes I hear some sirens so I look out the window again but I get a phone call from a blocked number. I answer it and it was just deep breathing. I was sketched tf out and I went straight to sleep. Nothing ever came from this but I still havent went check the ditch area where the guy was running from.

yup, called them on the pos meathead roughing up a woman in the parking lot of Felix's gym. Cops show up, talk to both of them and leave...and the woman gets in the car with the guy. go figure
Often, people's approach to these situations is along the lines of "Well, they're going to get back together anyway. Why should I get involved?", which is irrelevant. You do your part to address the situation that's in front of you and not be concerned about what may or may not happen down the line.

A drunk kid and his slam piece walked up onto my front porch and my dog went crazy. I went to the door to tell them to get the frick off my porch and the kid (who is a tiny little frick) tries to force his way into my house because he claims he was at a party at my house earlier and left his phone, and I shove him; he of course bites it because he's drunk. The drunk slut he was with then see's my sofa and tries to make a beeline for it. I block the door again and tell my wife to call the cops. The kids were harmless, but it was 3 AM and I had a pistol tucked in my back waistband just in case. They got into a cab a couple of minutes before the police arrived. I filed a report knowing full well that they wouldn't really follow up on it, but I wanted it filed in case that little bitch came back like he threatened to after I pushed him.

Neighbor down the street is a registered sex offender. I looked him up in the registry and it said he had molested a child. I was driving by one night and I see him walking two kids (approx 3-4 year olds) into his front door. Called the police, but I didn't stay around to see it play out. I know he still lives there so I guess nothing came of it.

3 times.
While in college I witnessed an abduction. 2 punks pulled up to a guy and a girl talking in the parking lot. They both pull guns on the guy and force the girl into the backseat while one of the guys follows and the other backs into the driver seat and takes off. Had a vague description of the guys (was shitfaced and on 3rd floor), but gave the cops all the details about the car make/model/color/license plate. No idea what happened, heard the sirens but never saw the cops.
Saw a hit and run at the first light after exiting the Causeway in Metairie. Called it in and followed from a distance until cops showed up around Esplanade & EJ
Saw a guy driving down power clip the left hand curb twice, obvious DUI. Called it in, as I'm on the phone with the cop he plows into the back of a car at the light on Williams & Vintage then floors it into Chateau.

Do you really have to be told what happens to snitches?
