No. Healthcare and essential workers have to get to work.

If you see the subways right now, there are 5-6 people max in each car and they’re distancing themselves, wearing gloves, and covering their face. It’s honestly a sad and creepy sight.

No, how are essential workers supposed to get to work?

Yeah, they should definitely stop the public transportation that health care providers use to get to hospitals to take care of sick people!

All cities with public transit are using fewer cars and asking people to not use public transit unless absolutely necessary, but eliminating transportation that the vast majority of a city relies on is absolutely idiotic.

Seriously, how fricking stupid are you?

New Yorkers can’t be bothered by this, but they are quick to claim trump racism.

I just took one before.
Had to get to a colleagues to help with the WFH setup.
Not everyone are wearing masks and gloves. But were not nearly as packed
They’re also have apparently been doing deep cleans on them (this started 2 weeks ago) at 10pm every night. I have to say i think this is true because when i took one to the upper east side it smelled of bleach and MTA workers were just getting off the car

Don’t those subways up there go from every major city to another? Do they even have Subway restaurants in them?

Those are the Amtrak systems - separate from the subway systems.

They used to but the smell of delicious freshly baked bread led to higher obesity rates and the tracks couldn't handle the extra weight.
