Academia is such a great, insulated, idealistic place to be. Those folks have it good. Educated and make a good living, often with no threat of ever being fired because of tenure...completely oblivious to how the world actually works and free of the rigor of logic. I want in on that bubble/safe space.

In fact, im adding this ugly things hatred of me and my wife +future kids to the list of reasons im going to do my best to raise my children as educated, hardworking, determined fricking winners.

The most bewildering thing about any of this is how much coverage this person has gotten out of it.
