If you present yourself as trash in New York you can get away with essentially anything these days.
Rub some dirt on your sweatpants and dirty up your hair and its paradise there for you.
Last time I was there some guy with a bottle of cheap whiskey in hand and a blunt was jerking off standing up on the sidewalk on 42nd a block from Grand Central with cops standing right next to him as everyone from kids to grandmas was walking by.
If you even had a hint you were a decent person you would have been arrested though.
It might be a fun game to try outdoing other faking vagrants.

Someone said he was sent to a halfway house in San Fran and found himself a sugar mama and has been mooching off her ever since. Apparently he’s not allowed back in Louisiana for whatever reason.
