Hit back to back in the same area in less than a month?

Really worried about Texas. Models can be wrong and this is a big mofo

Uhhhhh Katrina and Rita....both were Cateogory 5's and both hit Louisiana.

Yes. There were two hurricanes that his Louisiana back to back weeks around 2002.

Both were 3 or 4 in the Gulf but dropped down to 1s right before landfall.

Opposite sides of the state. Katrina hit NO while Rita hit Lake Charles.

Thanks for refreshing me on the names.

Both of those followed damn near the exact same track one after the other and both dropped their power significantly right before landfall due to the water temperature right off the coast.
