Busses run till 7 and 730, families picking up their kids from the late schools sit in traffic till 7...not moving it to Saturday makes no sense.

Halloween will be observed from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, October 31 in the unincorporated areas of Livingston Parish.
Trick or treaters should be watchful and careful around debris piles and parents should look out for homes that are still uninhabitable.
They're also advising to be wary of sex offenders and to check www.lsp.org for their residences.

For all the people proclaiming Halloween is on Monday, no shite.
The problem is there are several schools in LP that don't get out until close to 6 and a lot of busses are running as late as 7:30
