Or know anyone? I would post on the travel board but I prefer the OT. I’m traveling to Australia this June to visit my good friend and we were thinking about trying to cross this off our bucket list. I would love to talk chat with someone who has done it before. Sounds a little pricey but seems worth it to experience once.

You go in the cage? Cage goes in the water? Sharks in the water? Our shark.

Fair well and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies, fair well and adieu to you ladies of Spain. For we’ve received orders to a sail back to Boston, and soon never more shall we see you again...

Amazing! That seems to be a fantastic area based off of the research I’ve done online.

Nope, but came unexpectedly face to face with a 12' Tiger in Hawaii this past summer. Crossed that off Bucket List. I still want to see a HammerHead and a WhaleShark in wild. I have no desire to run into a GW

I took these 2 girls cage diving. Our wench on the boat broke and it dropped them about 40 something meters down. My buddy went down with a new cable but got eaten. We said frick it and left.

40 some meters huh? What steps were taken to prevent them from getting the bends coming back up? I’m doubting that distance. That’s a deep dive and dangerous dive depth.

I worked with S. African divers years ago that videoed himself swimming with the Makos and GWs. He had video of him banging the sharks in the nose with the camera.

He said movies make them seem like the devil.

Well you can radio to them repeatedly not to come up too fast. We just call the coast guard and let them bring people up.

I am in no way an adrenaline junkie. Hell, I don't like flying, but I would jump in one of those cages in a heartbeat. Definitely a bucket list item for me.

Yes, it's an adrenaline rush. Sharks are majestic beasts.
