We agree to disagree on some things. However, my wife, no pics, leans left. I would call her more libertarian than liberal. The more I show her the things the left does whether it be with transgender grooming or riots makes her less inclined to it, but she was definitely never attending rallies like you are describing. I'd nope out. Don't go into marriage thinking people will change and if you are that opposite, having kids can really cause a lot of problems.

I haven't read all 18 pages, but have you tried being honest with her? Tell her that you nor any other normal guy wants to be married to some Marxist idealogue.
One major problem leftists have is they are oblivious to how annoying they all are to the rest of us.
Me & my best friend hardly ever see each other except for him throwing a party on July 4th & Christmas Eve every year & every year his wife tries to ruin it by inserting her politics into every conversation. I finally told her to stfu no one wants to talk about "white privilege" & "patriarchy" at a Christmas party. Apparently, this came as shocking news to her, but she has certainly toned it down ever since.

I'm not going to read through all of this thread but obviously politics can be a source of difference of opinion. If you are on opposite ends and/or you are both very into your politics, then it's probably asking for a lot of conflict in your life. Best of luck with whatever you decide.

I can be friends with some democrats, but no way in hell is my wife going to some communist rally. We'd have to have a serious talk about where exactly this relationship is headed.

How can an intelligent man expect a woman who follows a political creed based on rejection of human nature, entitlement, lack of personal responsibility, grievance and resentment to be anything other than that in relationships?
I think many Lefty women could legitimately change their lives for the better if they just calmed their mind, lowered their volume, quit raging against their own nature, and submitted themselves to the moral leadership of a good conservative man . But they’ve been programmed to believe that their feminine neurotic traits are on par with the timeless traits of wise male leadership. They seriously believe that oppositional and aggressive traits are a replacement for agreeableness and the calming femininity men truly crave.

This is common. They want a masculine man and so they find a traditional man who makes them feel like a woman. And one minute they are posting Biden tributes on FB and the next they are falling for a guy who voted for The Bad Orange Man. Serious cognitive dissonance. And so Boss Bitch (always in the foreground) goes out to every ladies' night and SoiHusband wonders why she doesn't get home until 4:00 am but has so few options available he keeps his mouth shut, which just ensures the cycle.
