re: Has anyone lost any freinds because they have different political opinions?

I don't get on Facebook much but the only friend I ever deleted was because he posted a donkey show video on Facebook and I was worried my mom would see it in my Facebook feed. Now I do have a friend who is the biggest liberal I have ever seen and is a collage professor in Phoenix but he likes AR-15's so I just troll the shite out of him and then hit him a back handed compliment on his "assault gun videos".

I've put a lot on "Hide all posts but remain friends."
I was civilly discussing something, but I must have hit a nerve at one point because my friend ended it with... "If you can't see why I'm right, I suggest you just stop replying." Pressed that button and good luck to him with his "this is the end of the world, Trump is going to turn America into Nazi Germany" views. I'm finding out how intolerant some "tolerant" people are. Whatever.

I hid three. Unfriended none. I refuse to post about politics on Facebook, so I doubt I lost any.

Actual friends? Nope. I knew those people were assholes before politics got into it.
That's why we are friends.
EDIT: People on Facebook are not your friends. You know your friends' middle names. You see them in person, or speak to them on the phone if they're far away, at least every couple of weeks. You know your friends' birthdays (at least within a week) without having Facebook to remind you. Facebook friends, by and large, consist of your true friends and a couple hundred assholes that you otherwise would forget without constant reminders that they exist.
