I'll admit that I go on facebook because it is an easy way to keep up with family and old friends without actually having to visit them. But I will admit that I have lost respect for some of the people because if the things that they post about before and since the election. How much can you read before it gets under your skin?

Lose respect? Sure. But blocking people because you disagree with them is for SJWs and Gary Chambers.

#1 My friends aren't stupid
#2 I don't have Facebook
#3 We can disagree on something and not have panic attacks

I just choose the "See less from" option for that person or the "Hide all from" option for the hack site whose idiocy they're regurgitating.

Disagree. If I don't want to see garbage on my feed I will unfriend people.

Disagreement isn't the issue. But when someone floods your newsfeed with spam, or is disrespectful and judgmental, that's a problem.

One of my friends just blocked about 25 people for being jackasses. He immediately got a response calling him a Trumpkin (In reality he voted for McMullin and blocked people from both sides.)

I deleted facebook years ago because of all the political stuff people post, but I wouldn't allow politics get in the way of friendship. Its something I rarely discuss with my closes friends. Everyone has their own views and everyone respects each other's right to have whatever view they have.

But there are some people who become ate up with it.. They talk, post about it all the time.. It could be Friday night and if these people tweet something or whatever.. Its political shite. That has to be exhausting.

If you're surprised by someone's political opinion you're probably not much of a friend in the first place.

If you use Facebook via a computer, you can add Social Fixer. It's supposed to hide any post with certain keywords, for example Trump or Obama. Not sure how well it works since I use the FB app on my tablet.

No. I'm not dumb enough to alienate friends or family over something as dumb as politics.

They are sorta like friends, except no one wants to be around them because all they do is think they are funny when they correct your english

I don't talk politics other than anonymously. It makes life so much easier. Frankly, not much about politics affects me in a big way anyway. So I don't care much. Some people are too thin skinned to deal with all of that. So I never bring it up and stay out of the way when people do
