It's not like he hurt anyone. He just aired the boys out a little.

No harm, no foul.

Yes. Sign of the times, IMO

Well, jerkoff, guess what. There's a new community 9-2am patrol shift worker in town, and your time is up.

This thread was a very elaborate effort to peacock for ELT and impress Ryno.

You're better than this.

Don't think I didn't have you in mind.

I know you need me, too.

Our Nextdoor is pretty boring except for posts reporting suspicious vehicles and people casing our neighborhood

This post the other day was pretty funny

quote:

To the boys and their parents,
I came home this afternoon and found a Mourning Dove, wounded and suffering from being shot in my driveway. This poor bird's wounds were rotting so bad that I smelled the bird before seeing it! First of all, I thought they should know that shooting any type of gun within the city limits is illegal and second, doing so on someone else's property without their permission is extremely disrespectful! What if they accidentaly shot a pet, or worse, a kid that they didn't see? There's a time and a place to hunt, but it's not and never will be in a residential neighborhood.

Great reply

quote:

I have a 17 year old son and dealt with the same issue with him and his buds. They all knew that if I caught them shooting at ANY living thing, including each other, they would lose their air guns and wouldn't get them back until I decided they deserved them back. I also told them if they were "hunting" and killed a bird, squirrel, raccoon, snake or an opossum, then as a good hunter does, they would be cleaning, cooking and eating what they killed - needless to say, that put a damper on their outings, LOL! Thankfully I never had to carry out that plan, but did have a fine collection of air guns for a short time. These aren't 'bad' boys and don't believe they are intentionally wounding, they're just young and their brains aren't mature enough to completely grasp the consequences of their actions.

I appreciate his effort. Though he could tell fart jokes & I'd probably still fawn.

I just want to know how you go about logging on to this site. I tried looking it up but apparently I need a password. I live in a pretty rural area so I doubt it's even active.

I want to see if anyone is reporting me for suspicious activity/traffic.

So I know who's tires to flatten.

I'm sorry. You asked about that earlier.

I think you have to be invited. I'm not positive.

Figures.

I bet they are all posting about me right now, behind my back. Just a bunch of housewives gossiping.

I'm going to start my own site, it's going to be called Backdoor, no nosy housewives allowed. Only husbands and absolutely no gossiping about what goes on.

I will show them.

I use it to check for break-ins in the area...otherwise it's like reading your Facebook feed filtered to only show the old people.

I think he called me while y'all were on the range. I heard lots of suppressed small arms fire in the background.

Around 3pm maybe?
