My nextdoor feed is filled with people talking about dogs and cats...strays found, pets who have escaped.

Thank God that they found the missing cat Jovi, who took off when Rachel left her freaking screen door open. Like I couldn't have gone all week without knowing that. Frick you and your frickin cat. Put a tag on its collar and let it go. If it doesn't come back, it's because it realized that living with you was worse than being mauled by the German Shepard down the street.

I don't even know is if we have one. I typed my address in and it popped up a name that would be a huge area.

Probably posts like "Deer spotted with 2 fawn on County Rd 69, slow down".

"Bring your garbage cans back from the road"

"The boats sure are noisy I dread when it's warm enough for the seadoos"

"Why were there a cpl deputies at the trailer on County Road 73, was Billy nem getting their car repo'd again?"

You should email the Nextdoor admins about starting a group.

I joined nextdoor a while back out of curiosity, but they kicked me out after a while claiming that a sex offender was registered at my house. It was clearly an error. The guy who they said lived at my house was some guy from several states over, and had my address listed as a secondary address. I don't remember where exactly he was from. Anyway, they wanted me to jump through a bunch of hoops to clear the error, and it wasn't worth it. Eventually, a couple months later or something they emailed me saying that they had cleared the error from the registry, and I could come back if I wanted, but it wasn't worth it.

It can take months. You have to set the tone early, as well.

I guess I need to go to the sign shop tomorrow and get some of those car magnets made that say:

Neighborhood Watch Watch

We are going to be the ones who watch the neighborhood watch.

Maybe the sign should say Neighborhood Watch Watchers

I will havta sleep on that.

The wife is on it and it's pretty good for keeping up w/any bullshite (good or bad) that goes on in the area.

There are quite a few nosy busy bodies on there though.
