I don't see how people have local news alerts come through all day every day and don't want to hang themselves.
I know it would depress the shite out of me so I don't have any of those apps installed.

It's not just them. I rarely watch local news because it's normally 15min of crime, 5 minutes of weather, and 5 minutes of sports.
