Csb. I was a busboy at Outback Steakhouse in Baton Rouge in 93-94. One night I recognized a gal I knew through a mutual friend. I talked to her and her date for a few seconds and went about my work duties.
But then She and her date dashed on the check. The waitress was a dumbass and got mad at me for it.
Management jumped my arse and made me use the office phone to call my friend and get her number and try to get in touch with her.
It was futile and the whole front of house thought I was in on it or trashy as she was.

Few months later this gal's name ran across the nightly news as one of the prostitutes arrested with the madam of Baton Rouge, Sylvia Landry.

We had no idea she was a real live whore even while dating normal dudes like my friend.

In a sense I was forced to wash dishes once when a robber told me not to go anywhere "big boy" while I was washing dishes during the robbery.

Not true. It's either call police , theft by receiving, or take someone's word they will come back tomorrow.

No, but I "bought" ice cream on credit when I was 5 years old. The ice cream man just laughed. My mom was horrified and we got in the car and found him.

I worked at a restaurant as a dishwasher when I was 14. I made $5/hour for a 4 hour shift, and was given 1 meal per shift. The meal was definitely worth more than the cash I made per shift, so yes, I have washed dishes for a meal.

I’ve left my wallet before and just gave them my card number to run.

Nah, just asked where the bathrooms were, got up and walked out the door.

rarely(like maybe twice?) go to Chick-fil-a, was in a hurry and stopped through the drive through, left the wallet at home, I told them to hold on to the order and I'd be back in a few to pick it up, the response was that it's on us today sir, have a blessed day, go there all the time now and that still works fairly often
