From Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas?

I heard you can rent a Jeep from Chula Vista, CA and drive it to Cabo San Lucas where someone is waiting to take it and give your deposit back.

Sounds like an awesome challenge.

This sounds fun as shite but it's Mexico so I doubt you will get that deposit back.

Probably only like $25 anyway... because Mexico

A friend and I drove from Los Angeles down to Ensenda through San Diego, Tijuana and Rosarito in a four door Saturn.

Close enough.

Probably safer to drive across Iraq than through nearly any part of Mexico, Cartels have their claws into anything that goes on there.

"Chris and Debra Hall, along with their children, Tyler and Divinia, were driving back to California from Mexico, when they saw police lights gaining on them. When the family pulled over, a man in a police uniform approached and suddenly put a gun to Chris' head. Drug gangs in Mexico are known to steal police uniforms as a way to trap their victims and moments later the family was ambushed by a second car of gunmen."

Sounds about as unsafe and dangerous as the idiot on Reddit who was going to drive around Africa in his tricked out jeep

I'd rather play tag the IED in Kabul. Better chance of surviving.

My Uncle Escobar will let you use his Mercedes. All you have to do is deliver something for him and don't ask any fricking questions.
