Has anyone been to a concert at Centurylink Center in Bossier?

Looking at taking my wife to the Pink concert in Shreveport.
Has anyone been to a concert there? I've been to a preseason Pelicans game there and it seems small enough to not have any seats too far away.

Great venue, you'll love the concert setting

It's fine. I sat completely opposite of the stage one time and it was fine.

How do you think straight away mid to upper would be? Too far??

They actually open the uppers?

Saw Elton John there a few years back. we were in the far corner. Excellent viewing from all over and food and drinks were fairly priced as well! Would definitely go back for another concert there.

Anyone here remember Hirsch in the 80's? Hardly any security issues and a party free for all.

Sat right on the side of the stage in the uppers last year for Paul McCartney. It was awesome. They’re all pretty good seats

The Greatest Dump ever. My first concert was RATT/Britney Fox/Kix at the Hirsch in 1989. Still to this day one of the best shows ever. That place was an absolute madhouse. No assigned seats, open floor, smoke all you want, very few cops, no ushers, no rules. Those were the days. The 80s was the all time greatest decade.

Do the Bossier City Battle Wings still play there?

Probably not too far for a performer like Pink. It's a mid-size arena so it's not massive.

She’d probably rather go with her girlfriend

Not for the last 10 years or so. The arena doesn't have an anchor tenant at all now.

I did too, actually. Bon Jovi/Cinderella in 87 was nuts. Cindy kicked their arse. Poison/Scorpions was cool. Was hauled to Milli Vanilli/Club Neuveaux/Kool and the Gang. What a beating but the girls were sweaty.

Did you mean Poison/Tesla? I was at that show to see Tesla & then hang around for all the women that show up for Poison. It did not disappoint....

Probably. I saw the RATT show you were at as well.
Little Susie's On The Up! Still love that Tesla song.
Of all I've ever see anywhere, Cinderella 87 might be the best set. It was incredible. Bon Jovi and Slippery When Wet album didn't stand a chance that night. It was good but overshadowed.

The layout they show is: The Floor. One section of seats, then a second section of seats that I'm calling the upper. I don't remember if there was a third section.
