I saw Cher and The Village People there years ago.

No lie, I'm not gay either.
Some old cougar took me then we went to the Holiday Inn and I nailed it

Old man had a bad time, but he's weird about what experiences he likes and doesn't. I enjoyed my show there.

Worked as a stage hand there back in the day. In my opinion, that is a great venue to see a concert. Well done, esp for Bossier.

Anyone here remember Hirsch

There was quite the cannabis cloud under the Hirsch dome at the Boston concert. Circa ‘78 or so. That place was a mosh pit.

We used to come over from the Longview area quite often. Back in the days when Stars/Vertigo was in the Le Bossier and packed us in and fed us booze without a problem. It's so crazy to think about what we could do then compared to what kids can do now in terms of police etc etc. It was just a really fun time.

They were probably 1/3 full for Foo Fighters a couple weeks back.

It really was. The main rule at the time was “just don’t murder anybody”.

Shreveport's hockey team plays there now.

Rush and ZZ Top used to open at Hirsch - the acoustics were so bad that if you sounded good there, you'd be ok at other arenas.

Saw Paul McCartney there last time he toured, thought it was a good venue. We had seats in second section off the floor, about half way back, the view was good. Compared to other venues I have been to they did a excellent job handling traffic before and after the concert. Was staying at the Golden Nugget Casino, from the time the concert ended until I was in my hotel room was just less than minutes.

Went to the Chris Stapleton concert there at the beginning of the year. Floor seats right in front. It was awesome, best concert I’ve been too. Even snagged a Shreveport cougar. She was fun.

Saw MC Hammer there.

Was that November of '90? Saw him there with Vanilla Ice and En Vogue as his opening acts. Was on quarter break from Tech...got a call about two days later that my Marine Reserve unit had been call up for Desert Storm. Had to get someone from Housing at Tech to let me in my dorm to clear all my chit out.
