Has anybody recently had hardwood flooring installed?

I want to replace the floors in my house with nice heart pine or walnut. No glue down or engineered. Does anyone have any experience with any installers? Any idea on costs per SF?

Pine would run from $7.00- $14.00 installed
Walnut $12-$20 Sqft

I just had oak done. Tear out, install, stain and seal was $13/ft

I'm not in LA but I ordered hand stained Hickory for 6.50/sqf. Probably add another $2 for install.

Select grade 6" heart pine material and labor etc $13/Sf doing 5000sf plus on two jobs right now in Baton Rouge
