I do wish doctors had a little more training in things like supplements and wellness
Look for a DO rather than a MD. The one I see is much quicker to recommend vitamins and supplements than prescribe medications and I like that approach

Politicians and journalists have always been the least respected. And well earned.

It was a wake up call for many that decisions are made not with your best interests in mind but made for the almighty dollar. The reason Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin were treated the way they were despite being two of the safest drugs ever made compared to how much Remdesivir was pushed and used despite destroying people’s kidneys and killing people was because they made a ton of money off of Remdesivir and the other two were generics.

That is correct. My wife's side of the family has multiple doctors in it. Her grandfather was on one of the Alabama boards. When Covid happened, all they could talk about was the vaccine during family get togethers and basically would shame anyone who didn't get it like myself. One of them even had their 3 year old take it before it was even "approved" for kids. They literally worship everything medicine and believe medicine is the cure for everything. These people are born and live in small time Alabama and are pretty conservative too.

Insurance companies/PBMs run the business and control what is paid for....docs are tired of fighting the machine.

The way doctors talk to and treat their nurses in the hospital, it's a wonder some old oilfield baw husband has not shown up in the hospital parking lot and beat the ever living shite out of one.

That’s not true for lot of surgery specialties.C.V.surgeons will spend a good bit of time studying films with Cardiologists, and reviewing Medical records to determine if the pt.will benefit from surgery or should they have a stent. Also make an educated guess as to if the pt.will survive the surgery.
It’s not cut and dry like a plumber going to a house to fix some busted pipes
CV surgeons are under increasing pressure to reduce mortality rates so they can be reimbursed from medicare. I see them turning down tons of patients who would usually be operated on. Patients are either sent back to a cardiologist who can place a stent, in high risk areas, or go home on hospice.

And who has the patent on Remdesivir? Gain of function/Coronavirus expert at UNC Ralph Baric. Who also has older research from 2010 that showed simple zinc and an ionophore could stop RNA viral replication in cell cultures. So flu, Sars, polio...but that research didn't seem to move forward. Who would fund that study? Can't get a patent on zinc or zinc ionophores.

The woeful decline in private practice has led to a profession based on high patient turnover.

Ha ha, hilarious. But I agree with many of your ideas, we are responsible for our own body and our own health. Doctors are just there to provide some services and advice, if you ever thought they were some kind of highly intelligent group of special people then somewhere, somehow you will pay a high price for that misconception.

Depends on the doctor. I’ve had the same family doc for over 20 years. Never gave me bad advice. Always gave me the right scripts… the docs that took care of Mrs. PJ were excellent and did everything they could for her.
