I'm in Katy and there are still some places that have a few pumps open... just difficult to find. I topped off my vehicles yesterday and some places were running out even then.

GFS running now. Looks like Corpus may be spared a direct hit in this run. It is a little north of the previous run and is set on Victoria at the moment.

How do you guys know when a model is running? Is there a website that you go to? Thanks for all of the insight.

In the last few radar frames the inner is really collapsing. Now to see if the outer starts to contract.

We're still 12+ hours from landfall, which is pretty concerning.

Hopefully the EWRC + the friction with land will prevent any further strengthening, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They have set times they run. Tropicaltidbits.com is the best models site.

Recon just extrapolated pressure to 943.8 on the last past. Found 110 mph surface winds in the NW eye wall as well. We'll see what the dropsonde says.

would be a 4 mb drop from the 10 AM advisory

Myers reaction was possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen on live TV.

So I'm guessing when that happens it is going through some RI?

The Buccees in Katy is set to Open on Monday I expect they will come thru and be ready to serve the area

My guess is if they have gas in the tanks and people able to come to work they will open early.

Also, links and times are in the OP.

Speaking of models, the 6z HWRF is kind of steady state through landfall while the HMON dives to 921. Now to see what 12z does.
