Sounds like he could afford an attorney rather than bailing out.

I have a feeling this case is going to get picked up by an ACLU type organization and he wont have to worry about this much longer.

That all plays a part in the courts decision if you can afford an attorney, as does if you/anyone else posts bond for you

If you/anyone else can afford an attorney, you will do so.

In my experience these sorts of decsions are typically made in moments with little to no in depth financial information.

Also, because theres no one to argue on his behalf it doesnt take much to decide that a crazy bond is set or someone can afford an attorney when they really cant. Then they get a bottom of the barrel attorney and lose and people wonder why...

Yes, the judge ordered him there for 10 straight days and on 10 straight days he reset the hearing for the next day.

Why is this news? There is no problem here.

Yeah you can just tell that this judge does not have any preconceived notions about black defendants. LMAO

There was a push to make the you ineligible for a public defender if you bonded out.

This is happening now. Almost all the minute entries saying "OPD appointed until defendant makes bond."

If you can put up 12% of 80k to make bond, you shouldnt have the public paying for an attorney. If you have that money, stay in jail and pay an attorney. If you are able to convince people to give ton that money, stay in jail and spend it on an attorney.

Like everything, people confuse needs with wants. The public defenders should not be using already thin resources on you because you want to spend your money on other things.

I know McSpadden personally through mutual friends. He's a good ol baw actually. And for the record, he also sentenced my family member to 5 years.

Hard to blame him for saying what he did IF in fact those defendants pull the race card so often. People are just afraid to call a spade a MF spade. Black people continue to bring this crap on themselves. Have a community meeting to teach young black men that they aren't all going to be NBA stars nor rappers. Instead, broken arse families, continued crime stats, murders and drug use. Get with the fricking program already, quit bitching, go to work and make something out of yourselves

ETA: Case in point

no?

nobody?

This guy thinks Zimmerman is a murderer, and that Michael Brown was a gentle giant. He believes whatever HuffPo tells him to believe. You can get his stance on any issue by searching articles on Huffington Post.

True story.
