Frick HD. Buy Indian motorcycles instead.
I’m more of a Triumph and Moto Guzzi fan myself, but it just pained me to see an American brand like HD get infected by all that woke garbage.

What happened at Sturgis ?

It doesn't matter. The real truth is that the only group who by and large give a shite about Harley's are boomers, and they're getting too old to ride them.

we have not operated a DEI function since April 2024
Wow, 4 whole months. Impressive.

Their booth was empty instead of packed as it always is.

Until they shitcan every officer of that company, eliminate and replace the board, and assure that the DEI office is totally disbanded - this is just lip service.

Yeah, HD's stupidity probably helped other, similar niche brands like Indian, but if you want a Harley, then a Japanese bike or BMW or whatever won't satisfy you.
Unlike Bud, HD's market share is recoverable but they need to be very careful going forward. They fricked up going woke.
That statement was a good start. Hopefully they follow through. I liked patriotic Harley, not this crap.

Doesn’t matter. Give them a few years and they will reimplement the policies

Nothing has changed this is just a statement from the woke CEO trying to head off the damage of his DEI policies. Until that guy is booted it will be DEI as usual

Harley's DEI problems pale in comparison with their poor foreign made parts, poor quality control and awful dealer attitudes.
I hope that the Indian service support expands to the point of being viable.

How are so many companies so completely out of touch with their customer bases?
Ill never understand how companies like this intentionally poke their customer base with the Eff You stick. NASCAR comes immediately to mind.

I will never understand why companies feel like they need to make political or social stands. Make the best product possible... that's it....

If my motorcycle is not being built by a black two-spirit transgender with Zhe Zhem pronouns who doesn't know anything about motorcycles, then I ain't buying.
