They sad part is how they put a tarp around the deceased gentlemen’s feet finally so you don’t see them sticking out from the rubble

They better get paid upfront

I bet if it was more statues they would come down quicker.

What will be left of them at that point? They'll be lucky to find pieces.

This happened in the Oklahoma City Bombing as well. Some bodies recovered after the demolition.

All I can say is Desiree Charbonnet would've handled this 10x better than Latoya has. Still can't believe NOLA chose Latoya over Desiree

If by better you mean the city would have spent 4x as much because a connected party would have overcharged the city for the work? Sure.

I have a bad feeling about this. The explosives from the crane demo blew out windows in the Roosevelt. You gonna need a lot more firepower for this situation.
Also, if you have a big pile of rubble behind a fence... is that secure enough to allow Endymion to pass down Canal? We all know who calls the shots in the city.

Where’s all the engineers that told me I was wrong and that the parking garage was fine?

The parking garage can still be fine even if the decision is made that implosion is the best way to deal with the overall site.

Push back too far and they’ll run into Mardi Gras.
I agree with Mid April.
Canal is already closed in both directions, no way the implosion goes as planned and all the debris is cleaned off the street by late February.
So lets see, Canal will be closed for the remainder of Saints season, Saints playoffs, Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE and the national championship game and MardiGras. I guess Endymion will be on the uptown route this year.
Latoya, Tim Mcconnell and Shaun Ferguson are great leaders of that city.

I dont think the city has seen anything worse than these leaders ever in the history of New Orleans.
At least Mitch would have had all his relatives pockets lined and had that site cleared by now

I guess he's talking about this one
quote:
The four-story Canal Street building that burned to the verge of collapse Wednesday morning is owned by New Orleans developer and retailer Mike Motwani through his real estate company Quarter Holdings LLC.
Motwani couldn't immediately be reached for comment at his Magnolia Enterprises office, which operates T-shirt and souvenir shops. Quarter Holdings owns a total of 16 properties in the French Quarter and Central Business District, including seven on historic Canal Street.
The building at 1016-1022 Canal St. dates back to the early 20th century and was home to a Robert's jewelry shop

How long would it take to cleanup the site after imploding?
Posted on 11/13/19 at 9:51 am to soccerfüt
same a-hole that took down the statues

Forgot about the tactical gear they were wearing for that shite. Kevlar helmets.
