Happy Front Day Friend!
A minor question of liturgical propriety:
Just as Jerusalem was the epicenter of Christianity, so too, quite understandably, is New Orleans the Cathedral Church of Front Day and Mother its Nova Mater Dei as it were. Naturally, Great, Great Grandmother is highly revered in the pantheon of Front Day saints as its Patroness and foundress and her opinions, where available through the written records, should be respected.
Is Mother suggesting the New Orleans diaspora, the Apostles of Front Day, cannot celebrate Front Day wherever we find ourselves? Obviously a moveable Feast, shouldn’t Front Day be celebrated on the appropriate and appointed date wherever native New Orleanians or converts find themselves.
May I suggest William Walsham How’s To Thee Our God We Fly for tonight’s celebration. It’s lyrics appropriate for the day and times.
Happy Front Day from Baton Rouge.

Tulane, will you please ask Mother what happens if several Saturdays come and go but it is not a sunny day. Does she have the ability to decide if partly cloudy or mostly sunny qualifies?
